This notice explains what personal data Trade & Connect collects through this website, why we collect it, who it is shared with and what rights you have over it. It covers this website only.
Who we are
Trade & Connect is the trading name of Anthony Ryan, a sole trader based at Bank Chambers, Warrington WA1 1AJ, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the personal data described here.

What we collect
The only place this website asks you for personal data is the enquiry form. Nothing is stored in a database — an enquiry becomes an email to us and nothing else. Separately, the site is served through Cloudflare, which processes visitors' IP addresses and adds its own Web Analytics script to our pages; our cookie notice explains that in full.

Please do not send us special category data (for example health or criminal offence information) through the form — we do not need it and do not ask for it.
The server that runs this website may also keep standard access logs, which can include IP addresses, in line with our hosting provider's own practices.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use what you send us to read your enquiry, reply to it and discuss the training or digital marketing you have asked about. We do not use it for anything else, we do not profile you and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
Our lawful basis is your consent, given by ticking the box on the enquiry form. You can withdraw that consent at any time by replying to any email from us or writing to the address above. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
Who it is shared with
- Resend — the email service that delivers your enquiry to our inbox. Resend is based in the United States, so your enquiry is transferred outside the United Kingdom when it is sent.
- Cloudflare — the CDN and proxy the site is served through. All traffic to and from this website passes through Cloudflare, which terminates the encrypted connection and therefore handles everything you send us, including what you type into the enquiry form. Cloudflare also processes visitors' IP addresses in order to serve and analyse the site.
We otherwise share personal data only where the law requires it. We have not published the transfer safeguards that apply to the transfer to Resend — this notice will be updated once those are confirmed.
The site's typefaces are served from our own servers, so loading a page does not send your IP address to a third-party font service. Our cookie notice explains what the site loads.
How long we keep it
Your enquiry lives as an email in our inbox. We keep it for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows from it, and we delete it when it is no longer needed. A specific retention period is being confirmed and will be published here.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct it if it is wrong;
- ask us to delete it;
- ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to our using it;
- ask us to transfer it to you or to someone else in a usable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time.
To exercise any of these, contact us using the details above. We will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or by calling their helpline.
Security
Enquiries are submitted over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, validated on arrival and passed straight to our email provider. That connection is terminated by Cloudflare, as described above. No copy is written to disk on the website's server and there is no customer database.
Changes to this notice
We update this notice when what we do changes — for example if we take on a new supplier, or if the analytics described in our cookie notice changes. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
